Why we built it
The world dances to our music, eats our food, speaks our slang and wears our style. We built Greenwood. We built churches, colleges and businesses behind doors other people closed.
And still, for generations, we've been redlined, pushed out, overlooked and underfunded, too often by the very government meant to protect us. So we scattered to survive.
blkhive is where we gather to thrive: a safe, welcoming place where Black people are seen, respected, loved and cherished. Where we help each other first.
